A cooler day in early July, without rain, most of the thirteen turnouts (1 on horseback) undertook the 11 miles full distance; Ray & Mandy Williams`s lorry broke down just outside the field and so they did not get round, three participants got lost when leaving the loop leg of the drive route and started going around and around until rescued.
Everyone appeared to enjoy themselves except, sadly, Mandy and Ray.
